The Human Body Class explores names of external body parts, organ names and function. Participants engage in mock scenarios simulating a real-life doctor-patient interaction to convey expression of pain in various body parts

The Nutrition Class goes into food sources including processed and unprocessed food, organic and inorganic food, essential nutrients and macromolecules. Participants also learn how to read and understand parts of a nutrition label

The Hygiene Class explores general hygiene, daily hygiene, and dental hygiene. Participants will also learn about general cleanliness and get acquainted with common hygienic items

Our Making Appointments & Insurance Class explores how to make doctor’s appointments, the concept of health insurance in the U.S, key terms (ex. copayment, deductible, etc.), and differences in Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Insurance plans.
